A gripping cast of crime and thriller writers have been lined up for Murder One 2019, taking place in Smock Alley Theatre 1-3rd November. Supported by Dublin Libraries and Dublin City of Literature, Murder One boasts an intriguing blend of crime fact and fiction.
Martina Cole, Steve Cavanagh, Lucy Foley, Hallie Rubenhold, Joseph O’Connor and Liz Nugent are among the host of Irish and international writers who will be in Dublin for the landmark festival.
True crime is to the fore this year with events focusing on Jack the Ripper plus Dr Richard Shepherd, UK State Pathologist in discussion with international bestseller Paul Carson.
World authority on Agatha Christie, Dr John Curran and author Andrew Wilson will delve into her mysterious disappearance and role as the godmother of detection.
John Banville, Jane Casey and Roz Watkins will be Watching the Detectives with Trinity’s Brian Cliff.
With free events in the Banquet Hall, plus a bookshop, coffee and an opportunity to get your tarot cards read for Rape Crisis, Murder One promises a jam packed weekend!
