Jan Carson long-listed for major French literary awards

Jan Carson has been long-listed for the Prix Medics, and the Prix Femina

Jan Carson has been long listed for the Prix Medicis and the Prix Femina for her novel The Firestarters.

The two prestigious literary prizes come as The Fire Starters (Penguin), which won the European Prize for Literature, sees its translation into French by Dominique Goy-Blanquet and is published by Sabine Wespieser as Les Lanceurs de Feu.

Jan Carson is the author of Malcom Orange DisappearsChildren’s ChildrenPostcard Stories (The Emma Press), The Fire Starters (Penguin), and The Last Resort (Doubleday Ireland). 

Speaking about the long-listing Jan says:
