Budding artist 15 or younger? Design A Cover Competition 2024 launches

Children’s Books Ireland and The O’Brien Press announce the National Design A Cover Competition 2024

Are you a budding artist aged 15 or younger? Children’s Books Ireland and The O’Brien Press are offering one lucky young person the chance to have their artwork featured on a professionally published book.

The national Design A Cover Competition is enlisting the help of Ireland’s talented young artists in re-jacketing Judi Curtin’s Time After Time. The winning design will be used as the basis for a new cover of a fresh edition of the book which will be published this autumn. The overall winner will also receive a class set of the book for their school and a special selection of The O’Brien Press books.

Five runners-up will have the chance to see their artwork featured in the book and will also receive a selection of fantastic titles from The O’Brien Press. This competition is open to residents of ROI and Northern Ireland only, with a closing date of Friday, 23rd February. All entrants must be aged 15 years or under.

The overall winner will also receive a class set of the book for their school and a special selection of The O’Brien Press books.
