Burning Books—this Friday with Bernie McGill

The next episode of Burning Books features author and short story writer Bernie McGill

The next episode of Burning Books is out this Friday, 29th July, when author Bernie McGill tells Ruth McKee which books she would save if her house was on fire.

Bernie talks about Aesop’s Fables, the Irish short story, Lincoln in the Bardo, the pact between the author and the reader—and a lot more in between—and reveals which book she would happily watch go up in flames!

Bernie McGill is the author of two novels, The Butterfly Cabinet and The Watch House, and two collections of short stories, Sleepwalkers—and, most recently, This Train is For (No Alibis Press).

Listen in from this Friday, 29th July—and find all episodes of Burning Books wherever you get your podcasts.
