This online course will examine three core aspects of poetry writing – imagery, figurative language, and sound. Participants will practice each of these areas and explore poetic possibilities in an encouraging and lively online environment. The course will prepare participants to continue developing as writers with a firmer understanding of the fundamentals of poetry.

This course is open to beginners as well as writers with some experience, looking to learn more about writing poetry. It is conducted via a private online classroom which can be accessed at whatever time/s during the week best suit.
