Find your voice and pitch your work—The Art of Reviewing with Dr Tapasya Narang at The Irish Writers Centre

Curious about reviewing and pitching your work? A new six week course at The Irish Writers Centre aims to equip participants to read and evaluate literary work, write original reviews, pitch ideas to publishers, and gain an understanding of the culture and landscape of reviewing.

Dr. Tapasya Narang, an expert with seven years teaching experience, will help attendees find their voice while looking at all kinds of literature, from poetry to fiction to film. The course will not only address the tasks of a reviewer—reading and critical analysis—but will interrogate the motivations and politics within reviewing culture.

Taking place online on Wednesdays each week, the course covers topics including how to read a text, the politics of reviewing, studying different genres of reviewing, reshaping the field, and pitching your work.
