The Irish Writers Centre seeks a Communications and Marketing Officer

An exciting opportunity to work with one of Ireland’s leading literary support and development organisations has arisen.

The Communications and Marketing Officer position provides an opportunity to lead and shape the communications of the Irish Writers Centre, bringing imagination and new ideas to the role.

This position will have many opportunities to promote Irish Writers Centre activities to new and existing audiences, with the support of a dedicated team.

The Communications and Marketing Officer will provide strong leadership and management across all marketing activities for the organisation.

Specifically, they will be responsible for all aspects of public relations, website, social media, press relations, website development and updating.

In addition, they will also be involved in general administration, and provide support in the delivery of events.

For non-EU applicants, this job is eligible for a Sports and Cultural work permit.

About the role

JOB TITLE: Communications and Marketing Officer 

REPORTING TO: CEO/Director

CONTRACT: Full time, permanent for one year, subject to renewal, with six-month probation period.

SALARY: €30-34k p.a. 

LOCATION: Dublin 

Please note the post-holder will need to be Dublin-based to carry out the duties of this position.
