The influence of four mothers on sons who became important figures in Irish history starts on TG4 18th March 9.30pm.
The programmes examine the relationships between Jane Wilde (Speranza) and her son Oscar, Maud Gonne and Seán MacBride, Kathleen and Brendan Behan, and Alice McElwee and her son Thomas who died on hunger strike in 1981.
