Call for participants: WomenXBorders 2020

The Irish Writers Centre is looking for participants at the annual International Women’s Day Readathon, March 7

The Irish Writers Centre is set to collaborate with Women Aloud Northern Ireland once again in 2020 for the award winning WomenXBorders in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8th).

Applications are now open for women writers who are resident in the Republic of Ireland to take part in our literary readathon. Readers will each have 3 minutes to read their work. Applications can be submitted through this form.

The event takes place on Saturday 7th March and will consist of panel discussions, day-long opportunities to hear extracts from Women Aloud NI members and the Irish Writers Centre as well as networking opportunities.

Eligibility:

The Irish Writers Centre is taking applications from women writers resident in the Republic of Ireland. Writers in Northern Ireland should contact Women Aloud directly at womenaloudni@gmail.com

Writers at any stage of their career and writing in any language or genre are welcome to apply, especially writers writing in Irish and writers from minority groups.

Deadline for applications if Friday 7th February 2020.
