Irish Writers Centre Evolution Programme

The Evolution Programme at The Irish Writers Centre is open for applications from published authors

While there are plenty of resources, courses, and workshops for those at the early stages of their literary careers, published writers are also often looking for support.

The Evolution Programme at The Irish Writers Centre offers a free six-month programme for ten published (1 or 2 books) authors to advance their writing career.

Evolution is a partially self-led programme where writers can pick from a suite of supports such as one-to-one mentoring, clinics with industry professionals, IWC membership, IWC courses—with an opportunity to take up a paid teaching residency with the School of English and Creative Arts at the University of Galway.

The successful writers will also participate in a monthly knowledge-sharing peer support forum and be allocated an IWC team liaison person to support them individually in building their own programme of supports.

The deadline for applications is July 17, 2024 at 11.59pm.
