Catherine Dunne talks with Ruth McKee for the latest episode of Burning Books

A new episode of our popular podcast Burning Books is out now! This time it’s with author Catherine Dunne, whose latest novel is A Good Enough Mother (Betimes Books).

Catherine Dunne is the author of twelve novels and one work of nonfiction, An Unconsidered People. Her insightful portrayal of human relationships and her ability to capture the essence of Irish society have earned her a place among the most respected contemporary authors. Her work has been recognised both in Ireland and internationally, reflecting her profound impact on modern literature.

Catherine talks about her childhood in Clontarf, an inspiring teacher, and what led her to write her new novel, A Good Enough Mother, as she tells Ruth McKee which books she would save if her house was on fire.

A Good Enough Mother launches at The Irish Writers Centre, on Wednesday 26 June, at 6.30pm.
