An exciting job opportunity has opened up with Children’s Books Ireland, an organisation which works towards making every child a reader. CBI has been responsible for a whole range of worthwhile initiatives such as book gifting and book clinics for young people, and is a well of resources and ideas for teachers and families.
CBI are now seeking a Communications Manager who will play a vital role within the organisation, engaging with a wide community of artists, schools, families and the public while also highlighting the impact of CBI to existing partners and funders.
The successful candidate will oversee all marketing and communications to promote CBI’s activities, and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organisation’s communications strategy.
This position involves managing a part-time (2 days per week) Social Media Officer and working with the team across CBI’s various activities, including publications, professional development, book gifting, events, advocacy and fundraising. The successful candidate will liaise with external partners and suppliers including PR agencies, corporate partners and funders, photographers and videographers.
Based in Dublin, the successful candidate will have the choice of working fully in person or on a hybrid basis, and will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. This a full time position, with a salary of €38,390 per annum.
