Join us in MoLI’s Learning Room for this Bright Sparks family event and make your very own Dublin pigeon parade with author Margaret Anne Suggs. Explore some of the landmarks of Dublin with your very own pigeon! Learn the tricks to draw these city birds with character and add them to the family draw-along cityscape. Each child can take their own custom, handmade bird around Dublin to see the sights.

Margaret Anne Suggs was raised in the American Deep South and moved to Dublin to study at NCAD. She now lives her with her family and works as an illustrator and lectures part-time in illustration. Recent children’s books include Pigín of Howth (by Kathleen Watkins), and Cup of Tea (by Eric LaBranche). Margaret Anne serves as a Director for both Illustrators Ireland and IBBYIreland.

2pm A relaxed event with smaller numbers designed for children aged 5+ with ASD or extra needs (age 5+).
3.30pm Family art and story Workshop for children aged 5+.
