This one day course looks at the importance of character and psychology in crime novels and examines how authors can make their stories really resonate with their readers. Throughout the day you will be discussing books including Unravelling Oliver by Liz Nugent, One Bad Turn by Sinéad Crowley, The Long and Faraway Gone by Lou Berney and The Lost Man by Jane Harper, and although participants don’t have to have read them in advance, it may be helpful to look at one or two.
