New courses announced, and two vacancies now open with The Irish Writers Centre.
Three fresh courses have been added to an already engaging and popular programme for Spring 2021 at The Irish Writers Centre.
Over six weeks, author Orla Tinsley will offer a series of Creative Non-Fiction workshops, looking at the boundaries between truth and fiction, exploring how to transform your own experiences into compelling writing.
Noelle Brown brings her theatre and writing background to a training course called Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway. This series is for anyone who is nervous or anxious about public readings—the workshops help participants develop their own empowered voice in a relaxed environment.
Madeline Beach Carey will be running a 6-week course On Writing Home. This workshop is designed for people writing about their home country whilst living—or having lived—far from their place of birth or the place they call home.
Finally, there are two excellent job opportunities at the Irish Writers Centre—one for the position of Deputy Director and another for an Administrative Assistant. The deadline for both positions is Monday 1st February—further details and information can be found on the website.
