Mercier Press is seeking a commissioning editor to oversee the continued development of our portfolio. The successful candidate will need at least two year’s previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills and experience of list and portfolio management in the publishing industry. The role will include updating our existing content as well as commissioning new titles. Some sales/pitching experience would be beneficial. This role is based in our Cork office and will entail working out of office hours for attending meetings, events and launches nationwide.
