Novel Fair 2025 open for submissions

The Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair 2025 opens for submissions

It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again, but if you’ve been squirrelling away at a novel now is the time to get those first chapters ready to send to The Irish Writers Centre for a chance to be selected for Novel Fair 2025, a competition renowned for kickstarting many a literary career.

The deadline for submissions is the end of this month, so you still have time to get all your ducks in a row.

If you’re wondering if your manuscript is ready to submit to this year’s Novel Fair and if you’d like some tips from the pros, you can pop over to this online webinar recorded earlier this year.

You can watch this webinar with Olivia Fitzsimons, Conor Nagle, & Susan Tomaselli to hear great advice from the pros.

Find out what happens on the day itself and the path afterwards on this panel chaired by Programming Officer Betty Stenson. Featuring author and past Novel Fair winner, Olivia Fitzsimons, literary agent Conor Nagle, and founder and editor of gorse journal and last year’s Novel Fair judge Susan Tomaselli, it’s a webinar full of insight, encouragement and practical advice on submitting your work.

The Novel Fair deadline is 30 September 2024, so this is an ideal time to listen to some good advice and apply it to your submission.

Good luck!
