
Frazzled Lit short story award opens for entries in June, judged by Nuala O’Connor
Frazzled Lit have announced their inaugural short story award which opens this June and is to be judged by award-winning author Nuala O’Connor.
Short story entries to the award must be between 750-2,000 words, must be the author’s original work, must not have been previously published or broadcast in any form, and must not have won any other competition. Stories shortlisted in previous competitions will be acceptable, so long as they have not been published.
The entry fee is €15.
There is a first prize of € 1,000, a second prize of €500, and a third prize of €300, with ten shortlisted stories published in a special issue of Frazzled Lit.
Submissions are open from June 01—June 30 2025.
