Poetry Ireland is seeking an articulate, organised, and creative individual with 2 to 3 years experience to help promote, project, and develop the organisation, while also creatively engaging with and developing new audiences.
The Communications and Marketing Manager will design and deliver campaigns for all programmes and events as well as being part of launching the exciting new hub for poetry at 11 Parnell Square—Poetry Ireland House.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Communications and Marketing Manager will work closely with the management, publications, and education team as well as several other national and international partners.
The candidate must have a third level or commensurate experience in a relevant area (e.g. Communications, Public Relations, Information Management, Digital Media, Publishing, Marketing, Public Affairs or similar); a minimum of 2 years experience in a communication and/or marketing role; a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience working in the arts, culture or creative industries; experience of working in a high-performance environment; have excellent project management skills; be motivated, energetic and results driven and have strong people management skills, and a positive attitude.
Commensurate with skills and experience the salary for this position has a guide of €43,000 euro per annum and pension contribution.
