The Board of Publishing Ireland seeks Honorary Treasurer
Publishing Ireland is seeking a new voluntary board member to act as Honorary Treasurer and to chair its Finance Committee.
This person should have the following attributes:
- Be a member of a recognised accountancy body, or have a formal accounting qualification or have significant experience in the area of finance (essential)
- Experience of the financial management and governance of non-profit organisations (preferable)
- Interest in the book publishing industry
- The role requires 5–7 hours per month and can be undertaken remotely. Board meetings and committee meetings are held once a month by Zoom.

Publishing Ireland’s aim is to share expertise, resources and opportunities to foster excellence in Irish publishing. They are committed to providing information and training to members and to representing the interests of the Irish book publishing industry.
Publishing Ireland has a membership of over 40 publishers and is governed by a voluntary board of directors, which is representative of the membership of the organisation. The Board is responsible for the governance of the organisation.
