Amazon is the number one destination for shoppers—but many people won’t browse past the first page of its search results. This course will give you the nuts and bolts of how to get your accounts set up effectively, will look at the finer details of your book pages including metadata, best practices for A+ pages and getting reviews. It will also touch on the all-important Amazon SEO and how to create effective lists of keywords.

The course is divided into two sessions over two weeks. This will give you time to go-away and apply your knowledge to your account, knowing that there is an opportunity to speak with the team the following week.

Speakers

Rachel May Quin is a CIM- qualified marketer with 8 years of professional industry experience. In addition to marketing books, she is currently studying for an MA in Publishing, for which she won the inaugural Nielsen prize for outstanding work on data-driven marketing.

She most recently spent 4 years in-house at HarperCollins UK planning and developing digital campaigns winning numerous Book Marketing Society awards along the way.

Rachel has in-depth knowledge of working with Amazon to sell books and exceed objectives, and has trained and coached numerous publishing colleagues, other publishers and university students on their digital best practices.

Brian Martin started his career as a bookseller at Hodges Figgis Booksellers and has since dedicated his career to mastering the intricacies of the supply chain, with a particular focus on driving sales via Amazon. He has an excellent track record of increasing delivery income and driving margin through pricing at both independent publishers and larger publishing businesses.
