The Arts Council is currently receiving applications for the Bursary Award, which this year has been significantly expanded due to a recent injection of funding from the Department of Arts. 

The purpose of the Bursary Award is to support professional artists at any stage of their career to develop their art practice. It provides artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art. The maximum award is €20,000.
