Book Launch: Cornucopia

All are welcome to help celebrate Carraig Dubh Writers’ Group’s first publication.

6pm, Tuesday 26 November 2019 at Deansgrange Library

Light refreshments will be served.

The Carraig Dubh Writers’ Group (CDWG) came about as a result of Creative Writing workshops run by the Blackrock DLR library service in 2017. The tutor and mentor of the programme is Leo Cullen who is well known for his collection Clocking Ninety on the Road to Cloughjordan and his novel Let’s Twist Again. The contributors to this book have varying experience from early-stage to emerging status, but all are enthusiastic and eager to express themselves on the written page.

The featured writers in this collection include, John Carlin, Grace Carolan, Leo Cullen, Hugh Finlay, Gerard Hussey, Margaret Lynch, Audrey O’Carroll, Elizabeth Seigne, Derek Seymour, Nuala Smith, Ciaran Somers, and Shirley Walton.

With permission, we are excited to share an excerpt from this collection:
