MoLI launches inaugural Edna O’Brien Young Writers Bursary

Fantastic opportunity for young Irish writers

MoLI have announced the inaugural Edna O’Brien Young Writers Bursary, a 5-day immersive programme for 15 lucky students from around Ireland.

Students will be mentored through a creative writing project at MoLI by one of Ireland’s most exciting writers, Alan McMonagle, as well as meeting with publishers, authors, literature academics and fellow writing enthusiasts.

Accommodation, travel costs and meals will be provided for all bursary attendees.

Entry is free and the closing date for applications is 28 February 2020, 5pm. MoLI are also hosting an information session in the museum on Saturday, 1 February.
